Privacy Policy
We collect the details you give us to connect you with jobs, candidates, contractors and projects. With your consent we share them with other users of As2Hire for those opportunities. You can see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, any time by emailing contact@asaninfosoft.in.
This policy explains how As2Hire handles personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, mobile number, password (stored encrypted), company name, role.
- Resume and profile: work history, skills, education, experience, location, expected role, job status, availability, trades, and anything in the resume you upload.
- Business details: for contractors, builders, agencies and companies — business name, services, areas, workforce, GSTIN, addresses, contacts.
- Requests and messages: jobs, requirements, quotes, applications, hiring requests, app ideas, chats and feedback.
- Abilities profiles (optional): disability type, UDID status, the support you need at work, how you prefer to be contacted, and voice notes you send on WhatsApp. You choose who sees disability details; you can change or delete them any time.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, login times, and records of the consents you gave.
- Payments: handled by Razorpay / Stripe. We receive payment status, not your card or bank details.
2. Why we use it
- to create and run your account and show you relevant jobs, candidates, contractors or projects;
- to share your anonymous profile, and — when you are shortlisted, apply, or ask us to connect you — your resume and contact details, with employers, recruitment agencies, builders, contractors and partners for job and business opportunities;
- to send you emails and WhatsApp / SMS messages about jobs, applications, requests, availability and your account;
- to review, quote and build app ideas, and to brief developers anonymously;
- to prevent fraud and misuse, keep the platform secure, and meet legal obligations.
We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick “I agree”, and where the law otherwise allows.
3. Who we share it with
- Other users as described above (employers, HR, recruitment agencies, builders, contractors, their clients and our partners) — only for opportunities on the platform.
- Service providers who help us run As2Hire: cloud hosting, email (e.g. Brevo), WhatsApp (Meta), AI resume processing (e.g. Google Gemini, Groq), file storage and payments. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Some service providers store data on secure servers outside India; we only use providers with appropriate safeguards.
4. Data uploaded by others
If an employer, agency, contractor or our team uploaded your details, they confirmed they had your consent. You can ask us to correct or delete that data at any time.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account or listing is active and for up to 2 years after your last activity, unless you ask us to delete it sooner, or the law requires us to keep it (for example invoices and consent records).
6. Your rights
- See a summary of the data we hold about you and who it was shared with;
- Correct or update it, or ask us to delete it;
- Withdraw your consent (this stops future processing and sharing);
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to;
- Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), profiles are anonymised before others see them, and access to full resumes is logged and limited. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Children
As2Hire is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data of children.
9. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
